This is a fun change of pace from bread! All of these items were really good and reminded me of being in a New York deli. We were greeted immediately by a helpful and friendly server, who proceeded to take our drink orders and bring us some unusual starters: pickled beets, homemade pickles, and a vinegar-based coleslaw. I was excited to see what was in store for us at dinner. Junior’s hails from Brooklyn, New York and you are sure to find specialities from that borough on the menu. But, I have never eaten a real meal there!
Junior’s is of course famous for their cheesecake, of which I have had a few times after favorite Broadway shows in New York City. Since we were with our whole family, we were excited to see that this restaurant was family-friendly. While staying at Foxwoods Resort Casino last week, we were invited* to dine at Junior’s, one of the onsite restaurants.
